Joel is an experienced real estate broker with over 20 years of business development, sales and marketing. He has consistently been recognized as a Five Star Real Estate Professional by Texas Monthly Magazine for overall client satisfaction, earning him a strong base of referrals and repeat clients throughout Houston. He is native to Houston, but has also lived in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Lubbock and Dallas. He has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Texas Tech University and is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). Joel also holds his Broker's License from the Texas Real Estate Commission.

His real estate career began in 1999 working for a local title company, where he assisted with real estate closings and performed property searches at the title plant and county courthouse. In 2002 he was recruited by a national title insurance company to join their sales team. In this role, Joel was responsible for business development in Texas and Oklahoma. He was promoted in 2007 to VP and Agency Manager to lead the regional sales team in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. During this time, he grew his team's revenue by more than 30% and helped streamline the real estate closing process by partnering with banks, mortgage lenders and real estate agents.

Joel transitioned to residential real estate full time in 2013 in order to build a local business where he could become more involved in the community where he lives and works. His business is focused inside the loop and nearby neighborhoods including Bellaire, Meyerland, West University, Upper Kirby, Montrose, Museum District, Galleria-Uptown, Memorial, Spring Branch and the Houston Heights.

Joel currently lives along the Brays Bayou in Southwest Houston with his wife Courtney and young daughter Julia. They love the vibe of the neighborhood, the down to earth residents and proximity to some of Houston’s greatest amenities. He serves on the board of his neighborhood association and is a delegate to the Greater Meyerland Area Super Neighborhood. Joel is a member of First Presbyterian Church in the Museum District and is also active in the Houston Alumni chapters for both Phi Delta Theta and Texas Tech.
